15. No late entries will be accepted.16. Clubs failing to name the minimum number of personnel for any team may not have that teamaccepted by the CAG.17. A player may only be named for one club and one team in senior interclub. A free transfer will begranted upon written request from a club for any player originally named on the official entry forms,to another team, provided that player has not played for any team up to that point during the currentseason. These written requests must be received before 4.00pm on the Wednesday prior to their firstmatch by the <strong>Tennis</strong> <strong>Canterbury</strong> Administration.ELIGIBILITY AND RANKING18. To be eligible to play for a Club, a player must be a member of that Club and not in default ofmonies to any affiliated club, TCR or TNZ.19. No player having represented a Club in any grade shall be entitled to play for another Club in thecurrent season without first obtaining the written permission of TCR.20. A named player is a player who has been nominated for a particular grade has been submitted to<strong>Tennis</strong> <strong>Canterbury</strong> in writing by 4.00pm on the Wednesday prior to a contest.Junior Eligibility21. Any junior may play in the senior divisions, however;a. A maximum of two players 16 or under (as at 30th April <strong>2013</strong>) per team, may also play juniorsif they wishb. All Players 14 and under (as at 30th April <strong>2013</strong>) must also play in a junior team (dispensationmay be given by the CAG)c. Only juniors who have played and won consistently in the highest junior team available will beconsidered for senior teams.d. A junior player (as stated above) who is playing in the ASB Senior <strong>Interclub</strong> competition isrequired to play in the Challenger grade on a Friday Afternoon. This maybe for two differentclubs and a request to the CAG should be made including a letter from both clubs stating thatthey agree with this arrangement. Subs and court fee arrangements will be up to the clubs.22. All named junior players for the 2011/12 ASB Senior <strong>Interclub</strong> season will not have to play injunior grades for the <strong>2012</strong>/13 season for Senior Grades.PLEASE NOTE: The object of setting this standard is to introduce and challenge quality junior playersinto the Senior <strong>Interclub</strong> competition and to enhance the competition, while bearing in mind that thesenior players have the right to expect a good quality of players joining their competition. It also sets aclear standard of eligibility to the Clubs, juniors, Parents and Coaches involved.042
