‘FILL-INS’Where possible, fill-ins should be of a suitable playing standard for the grade.Age grades: Fill-ins may be from any lower division or age group, except that a Saturday player filling infor a Friday team must be from a lower age grade.Challenger grades: A player filling in for a Challenger team must be from a lower Challenger grade,or from the club’s highest junior team eligible by age to play Challenger. Junior players (playing seniorgrades) not originally named in Challenger grades may not drop back to fill-in in Challenger. Challengergrade players are required to be involved in 6 Challenger matches to be eligible to play in the finalseries matches.Senior Satellite - highest grade: A player filling in for a Senior Satellite team must be from eitherSenior Satellite, Challenger 2 or below, or from the club’s highest age grade team. Players must be 13as at 31/12/2011 to fill-in in for these grades.Senior Satellite - other grades: A player filling in for any other senior satellite grade team must befrom a lower division of senior satellite, or from the club’s highest age grade team (not Challenger).Players must be 13 as at 31/12/2011 to fill-in in these grades.tttSeniors: A player filling in for a senior team must comply with the senior interclub rules.RE-GRADING & REPLACEMENTAny player, who has played more than twice as a substitute in any junior grade higher than theirnominated team, may not play again in the lower grade except with the prior written approval of <strong>Tennis</strong><strong>Canterbury</strong>.Finals - no player may play in a final or section play-off unless the particular player has played at leastthree times previously for the particular team, except with prior written approval from <strong>Tennis</strong> <strong>Canterbury</strong>.In the advent of no players being available that meet this criteria - players from lower grades who werenamed at no higher than 3 when team orders were submitted (provided they have advised <strong>Tennis</strong><strong>Canterbury</strong>) may be permitted to play.PLEASE NOTE: No more than 4 players are permitted in a team that does not have sufficient playersqualified to play in a final.FINALSWhere possible the top four teams at the completion of the round robin competition will play off in thefinal. (1 v 4, 2 v 3 with the winning semi finalists playing off in the final)Should a final be un-played due to weather the winner shall be the team gaining the most points in theirdivision following promotion/relegation with adjustments for byes. In the event of a tie in a final the titlewill be shared.052
