REGRADES33. Any player who in the current season has played in three matches in any higher grade or gradescannot play in a lower grade in that season unless he or she has been re-graded by the CAG uponwritten application from the Club. Re-grades cannot be done in advance. Written application must bereceived and approved by CAG by 4.00pm on the Wednesday prior to the match concerned. Players willbe permitted only one re-grade each season.34. Any player who then plays again in any higher grade is committed to play in that grade for theremainder of that season.35. Regrades will not be granted to any player to participate in section semi-finals, finals, play offmatches or promotion/relegation matches, if that player has played four or more matches out of thegrade concerned.36. Regrades will not be given to players whose grade has been completed for the season to then playin lower teams.PENALTIESTechnical Point37. Where the term `technical point’ occurs the point or points shall, at the discretion of the <strong>Interclub</strong>Administration, be deducted from the offending team’s accumulated points, but NOT awarded to thenon offending team. A technical point(s) does not affect the bonus points awarded to the winning team.38. A maximum of two technical points only per team shall be deducted for result sheet offences in anyone contest.39. Two technical points shall be deducted from a team not filling in the opposing <strong>Interclub</strong> <strong>Handbook</strong>Penalty Point40. In any part of these rules where the term ‘penalty point’ is used, the following shall apply:a. Penalty points shall be deducted from the offending team and awarded to the opposing team,provided that the offending team has points to be deducted.b. No team shall lose negative points.ExampleTeam A wins 4 matchesTeam B wins 2 matchesTherefore on the day team A wins and is awarded bonus points.Should team A commit two offences – the result then becomes Team B: 4 matches to Team A: 2matches. Bonus points are now allocated to Team B.044
