With their extremely compact dimensions of hardly more than 0.4 m2 they take up hardly any space. With integral DHW cylinder, brine and heating circuit pumps, plus a three-way diverter valve, these compact appliances are quick and easy to install. They are offered in two different versions – the Vitocal 242-G with solar function and a generously sized DHW cylinder with 220 litre capacity. The Vitocal 222-G has a 170 litre cylinder. Both heat pumps offer high DHW convenience. Extremely easy to operate Like all compact appliances, the Vitocal 222-G is equipped with the new extremely easy to operate Vitotronic control unit. 9 1 2 4 6 3 8 7 5 If in doubt, help is available at the push of a button. The graphic interface will also display heating curves and switching times. The programming unit of the Vitotronic control unit can be removed from the front of the appliance and be replaced with an external programming unit, available as an accessory, and a dummy cover. A five metre long power cable enables the external programming unit to be mounted almost anywhere in a convenient position on a wall mounting base. Particularly quiet operation The three-dimensional anti-vibration mounts make these compact heat pumps particularly quiet so that they can be installed close to the living space. Compact and ready to connect The casing may be split for easier handling. The heat pump is supplied ready to connect. Variable connection accessories ensure an easy installation on site. Heating naturally – naturally cooling as well With your compact heat pump, your low energy house will always feel comfortable, even in hot summers. The natural cooling function brings cool underground temperatures into your home. For this, you need the <strong>Viessmann</strong> NC-Box as an accessory, or alternatively, you can opt for the Vitocal 333-G with integral NC equipment. Vitocal 242-G including optional utilisation of a solar energy With the Vitocal 242-G, the connections for a solar thermal system are already in place, as hydraulic connections and a control unit are already integrated. The powerful collectors and matching system components from <strong>Viessmann</strong> back up the heat pump – meaning in an average year, you can save 50 to 60 percent of energy conventionally spent on DHW heating.
The compact heat pumps fully live up to their reputation: low space requirement and no service clearances to the side, making them fit easily into even the tightest of recesses. Easy to operate Vitotronic control unit with simple navigation and clear menu tree.
