The compact DHW heat pump, Vitocal 160-A, can operate
independently, separate from other heat sources.
Lower costs through solar energy
Both versions are available with an integral
indirect solar coil and solar control unit.
Through the connection of up to six square
metres of flat-plate collectors or up to three
square metres of vacuum tube collectors,
the free energy of the sun can also be
used to heat DHW and further reduce the
running costs.
230 V socket is sufficient
The Vitocal 160-A is supplied pre-assembled.
Simply install, connect the water pipes and
condensate drain, and plug into a 230 V power
socket – and the recirculating air heat pump is
ready for operation.
Take advantage of these benefits:
Attractively priced DHW heat pump for recirculating or extracting air mode with
option of internal indirect solar coil and solar control unit for connecting flat-plate
and tube collectors
Air flow rate up to 250 m 3 /h
Cylinder capacity 285 litres, cylinder with special enamel coating
Easy commissioning through ready to plug in wiring and programmed control unit
DHW heat pump for sole heating of the required DHW in heat pump operation
up to 55 °C
Suitable as an extract air version with vents suitable for regulated ventilation of
up to 200 m2 living space
Integral booster heater (1.5 kW) for DHW temperatures up to 65 °C
For specification, see page 60
