GENERAL INFORMATIONADMINISTRATIVE STAFF:Luis Reis Dwight Propp Sherry Bestvater Brent GiesbrechtPrincipal Vice-Principal Vice-Principal Vice-PrincipalGrade 9 Grade 10 Grade 11 Grade 12ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:Current admission requirements for students to enter the SRSS are designed to meet the Department ofEducation Senior Years Graduation Credit Requirements and those of the SRSS.The admission requirements are that all students entering Grade 10 at the SRSS must have a minimumof five Grade 9 credits, including:Language ArtsSocial StudiesMathematicsPhysical Education/Well BeingScienceAcceptance to SRSS will be provisional upon successful completion of 5 Grade 9 credits. Most studentswill have 8 credits from Grade 9. The SRSS registration deadline is May 1st. Many programs fill up atthe deadline, so it is important that students apply on time.It is recommended that students consult their Guidance Counsellor or Principal before making finaldecisions on course selections. We also can no longer guarantee entry for non-resident students under the“program not available” option. If there is room the following procedure applies:Admission of Non-Resident Students (For Programs not available in the Sending Division)1. There must be room in the class/school/program for which application is made.2. Transportation is the responsibility of the sending division and must be approved by homeDivision for program fees (unless other mutual arrangements can be made).3. Requests for transfer will be accepted only on official forms available at the school and theHanover School Division Board Office.4. Applications must be received by May 1st.5.
