Connoquenessing Creek Watershed Conservation Planbe available through the Pennsylvania Geological Survey’sPaGWIS database. Accurate locations should be determinedfor all of the wells (and reported to the PaGS for updatingPaGWIS). These well records include well construction, pumptest, and geologic information, and can be used for a variety ofpurposes, including developing a baseline water level study, asdescribed in method nine for Goal 3-K. It is a readily availablesource of groundwater and geologic data spatially distributedthrough the entire watershed.Delano and Wishusen (2001) is published by Pennsylvania CorrectedGeological Survey, not the Pennsylvania Geological SocietyPaGWIS (Pennsylvania Groundwater Information System) Added to Appendix(http://www.dcnr.statepa.us/topogeo/groundwater/PaGWIS/PaGWISMenu.asp?c=t) should be listed as a source for waterwell data under Water Resources chapter.Pennsylvania Geological Survey web siteAdded to Appendix(http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/topogeo/index.aspx) should be listed as a source forGeological Characteristics data under Land Resources. Our environmental geology series of publicationAdded to Appendix(http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/topogeo/pub/environmental.aspx) should be listedas a source for environmental geology reports under LandResources. Our mineral resource series of publication (http://www.dcnr. Added to Appendixstate.pa.us/topogeo/pub/mineral.aspx) should be listed as asource for mineral resource reports under Land Resources.I would suggest that links to all of the websites listed inAppendix O, including those I am suggesting be added to it,should be made available on your Watershed Conservationplan website. The golf courses on Figure 5-1 are largely, if not all, mislabeled. At least the ones that I am familiar with aremislabeled. I’m not sure that gold courses exist at all of thelocations in Figure 5-1. I think that some of the otherrecreational facilities are wrong also. For example, #122 isHarmony Historic District, but it is nowhere near Harmony onFigure 5-1. And some numbers on the map are not on the key(e.g. 132 in Butler). I think that Parks are largely located andlabeled correctly, but golf course and historic sites havenumerous (perhaps most) errors in both location and labeling. However, everything should be rechecked and corrected. The entire report including appendices areavailable on website, including thesesources.
