two separate but complementary components<br />

- technical skills in pattern design and<br />

drafting, allowing you to move beyond<br />

dependence on commercial patterns and to<br />

create individualized designs, coupled with<br />

other fashion related areas including drawing,<br />

colour and figure theory, textile and costume<br />

awareness. This broad-based knowledge<br />

encourages participants to appreciate the<br />

potential for creative expression and<br />
