MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS OF <strong>2010</strong>The visit from the Minister for Education, the Honourable Mr Jay Weatherill, with Assistant RegionalDirector, Mr David Chadwick, Principal, Ms Anita Zocchi, Governing Council Chair, Ms Liz Hill, Member forMitchell, Mr. Alan Sibbons and students from <strong>Seaview</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong>.<strong>2010</strong> was a year of review and change. The school was under new leadership for the first time in a numberof years. The Administration Team was new to their roles in the school and this group spent much of theyear leading a review of practices adopted in the school and working with staff, students and parents toimplement change in some policies and processes.We were fortunate to have the Minister for Education Mr Jay Weatherill visit the school in August.Students, staff and parents were delighted that the Minister took the time to visit our school, listen to ourhistory, discuss current issues and speak with members from our community.Our school was one of two schools selected to take part in the Adelaide Cabaret Festival. Students werefortunate to work with David Campbell on their performances and performed live to two packed outaudiences at the Festival Theatre, one of which was attended by the Honourable Premier Mike Rann.The Minister for Education speaking with some of the students in the Cabaret Performance.5
