However, if additional Gateway providersare needed, they can be developed and installed for use with the store. Along withpayment Gateway providers, custom providers for shipping and tax calculationscan also be developed and installed. The provider-based design of this modulemakes it a serious competitor with some of the more expensive third-partye-commerce modules.Survey moduleThe Survey module provides a way to solicit information from the visitors to a site.The module provides two primary types of survey questions—questions that canhave multiple answers, indicated by the use of checkboxes, and questions that canonly have one answer, indicated by the use of radio buttons.When a user has answered all the questions, they can view the results of the survey,unless the survey results are marked as private in the Module Settings screen.Administration and modificationWhen logged in as a user with Edit rights, a new survey question can be added byselecting the Add Question link. The following fields are available when addinga question:• Question: The survey question to display to the user.• Type: The type of survey question (single selection versusmultiple selection).• View Order: The order of the question in the list of questions.• New Option: This field is used to add new options to the Options list. Addsome text to this field and select Add Option to add a new option to display.• Option Is Correct Answer?: Check this box if the option is considered to bethe correct answer to the question.The Module Settings screen provides configuration options that will affect theoverall use of the module. These include:• Survey Closing Date: The date the survey should no longer be available tothe users.• Maximum Bar Graph Width: This controls how wide the bar graph will bewhile viewing the results of the survey.[ 122 ]
