Be sure to have this information with you so that you can getthe correct books. Remember that different course sections may havedifferent professors and books, so take careful note of your section.The bookstore staff is happy to help you if you have any questionsabout buying your books. Many students buy their books after thefirst day of class, when they have met their professors and receivedthe syllabi. However, students may order/pre-order their textbooksonline through their e<strong>Campus</strong> account. After your e<strong>Campus</strong> login,under My Courses, you can view/purchase your textbooks using theBuy Textbooks Online link. You can order your books as early as theJuly Orientation dates when you register for classes.Digital TextbooksDigital versions are available for most textbooks.Textbook Rentals<strong>Student</strong>s have the option to rent textbooks for the semester. <strong>Student</strong>scan save from 40–80 percent by renting textbooks. Rented textbooksare typically due on the last day of finals and must be returned ingood condition. About 85 percent of our booklist is rentable.Textbook ReservationTo make buying textbooks easier, take advantage of <strong>Adelphi</strong>’s TextbookReservation Program. Call 516.877.3900, visit adelphi.bkstore.com orcome into the store before the beginning of the semester to have yourbooks reserved. Just give us your schedule and credit card number,and then pick up your books the first week of classes at the informationdesk and skip the long cashier’s line.Used TextbooksThe bookstore often sells used textbooks—keep in mind that usedbooks often sell out quickly because they are less expensive.Textbook ReturnsThe bookstore will give you a full refund during the first week ofclasses with a valid receipt. After the first week, the bookstore willgive a full refund up to 30 days after the first day of classes with avalid receipt and proof of schedule change. After the first 30 daysof classes, all textbook sales become final.Contact the bookstore at 516.877.3900, bookstore@adelphi.eduor drop by for a more detailed explanation of the return policy.Textbook BuybacksThe bookstore will buy back your used textbooks at any point in thesemester, excluding the first two weeks of the term. Books tend tohave their highest buyback value during finals period.Please note, the bookstore will give you up to 50 percent cash backon your textbook if it falls under these two criteria:• The book is being used for the next semester.• We are not overstocked on the textbook.<strong>Adelphi</strong> and Barnes & Noble: Go Green!Check out the earth-friendly bags—for a nominal price, you canpurchase a reusable bag when you buy your textbooks andreuse it each semester. Plus, it can hold other stuff!
