Print Management<strong>Adelphi</strong> <strong>University</strong> utilizes a printing management programcalled Pcounter to manage student printing balance. Printingmanagement is installed in all computer labs to manage eachstudent’s printing allotment. For the number of prints allottedeach semester and additional details, see the Policies section atit.adelphi.edu.Wireless AccessIT maintains wireless coverage at the Garden City campus,as well as the three center locations. Your computer must beequipped with a Wi-Fi card. Access to the <strong>Adelphi</strong> wirelessnetwork involves two security steps: the network key (gopanthers)and your <strong>Adelphi</strong> login credentials.Residence Hall Computer UseIf you live on campus, IT has a number of resources to help youaccess the network and all <strong>Adelphi</strong> online services. For assistance,contact the IT Help Desk.Residential Networking Registration (RNR) is required toensure that you have the latest software patches installed onyour computer. RNR software is a network-based program thatremotely scans your computer. After your computer is verified tobe virus free and all OS patches are up to date, you will be able toaccess the <strong>Adelphi</strong> network.
