Mosport. Bimmer<strong>World</strong> team developed new BMW E90 chassis in house for 2007 and collected <strong>the</strong><br />

first North American win for <strong>the</strong> chassis as a team owner at Mid-Ohio with driver Joey Hand. In<br />

seven starts, tied his career-best finish <strong>of</strong> third at Road Atlanta, where he set <strong>the</strong> fastest lap <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

race.<br />

Personal: Born Aug. 14, 1973. Bimmer<strong>World</strong> owner. Played semi-pr<strong>of</strong>essional footb<strong>all</strong> after college<br />

as a 300 lb-plus <strong>of</strong>fensive lineman. Enjoys house techno music, but does not dance <strong>to</strong> it. Wields a<br />

mean barbeque – loves <strong>to</strong> cook and grill at home on <strong>the</strong> weekends.<br />

end <strong>the</strong> year eighth in <strong>the</strong> Drivers’ Championship.<br />

Previously: Prior <strong>to</strong> joining <strong>World</strong> Ch<strong>all</strong>enge, competed in SCCA Pro Racing<br />

Mazdaspeed Miata Cup. Also drove in Grand-Am Cup GS and Panoz Pro GT,<br />

as well as oval track snow-mobiling and mo<strong>to</strong>rcycle competitions. Won <strong>the</strong><br />

2005 Panoz GT Pro winter series championship, and also claimed <strong>the</strong> Miata Cup Sunoco Hard<br />

after starting 27th at Sebring. Competed in a full year <strong>of</strong> SPEED Touring Car in 2006 with <strong>the</strong><br />

STaSIS Audi team. Finished <strong>the</strong> year 10th in <strong>the</strong> Drivers’ Championship with four <strong>to</strong>p-10 finishes,<br />

including a career-best fourth at Mid-Ohio. earning him <strong>the</strong> Piloti Rookie <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Year Award. Stepped<br />

over from SPEED Touring Car <strong>to</strong> GT in 2007, driving a Woodhouse Performance Dodge Viper. Earned<br />

four <strong>to</strong>p-10 finishes en route <strong>to</strong> finishing a career-high seventh in <strong>the</strong> Drivers’ Championship. Best<br />

finish was fifth at Lowe’s Mo<strong>to</strong>r Speedway, where his teammate was NASCAR star Kasey Kahne.<br />

Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports Porsche 911 GT3 and seven SPEED Touring Car Rounds in a<br />

RealTime Acura TSX. Finished 13th in <strong>the</strong> SPEED Touring Car Drivers’<br />

Championship with a best finish <strong>of</strong> seventh at Miller Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports Park and<br />

Mid-Ohio. Finished six <strong>of</strong> seven SPEED Touring Car races in <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>p 10.<br />

Previously: Began racing various mo<strong>to</strong>cross and desert events in 1972 and<br />

continues <strong>to</strong> participate in <strong>the</strong>se events. For <strong>the</strong> past 25 years, Dino has competed in five <strong>to</strong> six Alfa<br />

in SCCA GT-5 class driving an Alfa Romeo GTA. Holds lap records at Willow Springs and<br />

Riverside. From 1990-1992, ran a tube frame Alfa Romeo in SCCA GT-3 class and Nasport. Was<br />

second in <strong>the</strong> division and third at <strong>the</strong> Run<strong>of</strong>fs. Holds several lap records. Competed in <strong>the</strong> Trans-<br />

Am series from 1993-1997. Won several Rising Star <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Race awards and his best finish was<br />

fifth. Driving a 1972 McLaren M8F, he has won every Can-Am vintage car race he has finished from<br />

2002 <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> present. In rookie SPEED Touring Car season <strong>of</strong> 2004, ran full slate <strong>of</strong> ten events in a<br />

BMW 325i. Scored one <strong>to</strong>p-five finish (Infineon), six <strong>to</strong>p-10s and was named 2004 SPEED Touring<br />

Car Rookie <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Year. Joined Tri-Point Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports in 2005 and ran in 10 Touring Car events driving<br />

a MAZDA6. Qualified in <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>p five in half <strong>of</strong> his starts, including a career-best second on <strong>the</strong><br />

grid at Portland. Also had a pair <strong>of</strong> <strong>to</strong>p-three finishes highlighted by a career-best third at Infineon.<br />

In addition <strong>to</strong> Touring Car, <strong>to</strong>ok <strong>to</strong> SPEED GT, driving Lou Gigliotti’s Corvette at Portland where he<br />

earned his first <strong>World</strong> Ch<strong>all</strong>enge win in his first-ever GT start. Continued with Tri-Point Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports<br />

in 2006, earning three <strong>to</strong>p-ten finishes. Best result was an eighth at Infineon. Started <strong>the</strong> 2007<br />

season with STaSIS, finishing seventh at Sebring in an Audi A4. Entered final race at Mazda Raceway<br />

Laguna Seca with Tri-Point Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports in a MAZDA6, finishing fifth.<br />

Personal: Born July 3, 1960. Is <strong>the</strong> CEO for Centric Parts. Has three children (Sasha, Giuliana and<br />

Dino Jr.) and drives an Audi RS4 on <strong>the</strong> street. Lists Grand Prix as his favorite movie and prefers<br />

Italian and Japanese food. Tazio Nuvalari is his racing hero and Portland is his favorite track.<br />
