familiar Mazda Protege, switched <strong>to</strong> MAZDA6 for Tindol Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports. In <strong>the</strong> MAZDA6, earned <strong>the</strong><br />

first win <strong>of</strong> his career at Mosport after starting second. Also, earned <strong>the</strong> first pole position <strong>of</strong> his<br />

career at Cleveland before finishing second. In <strong>all</strong>, had seven <strong>to</strong>p-10, four <strong>to</strong>p-five and three podium<br />

finishes en route <strong>to</strong> finishing seventh in <strong>the</strong> Drivers’ Championship. In 2006, his second season<br />

with Tindol Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports, racked up six <strong>to</strong>p-10 finishes and four <strong>to</strong>p-five finished en route <strong>to</strong> finishing<br />

eighth in <strong>the</strong> Drivers’ Championship. Best result was second at Road America where he started<br />

on pole. In his third year with Tindol Mo<strong>to</strong>rsports, earned six <strong>to</strong>p-10 finishes and two <strong>to</strong>p-five finishes<br />

in 2007. Best finish was third in <strong>the</strong> second half <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Watkins Glen doubleheader.<br />

Personal: Born Sept. 22, 1968. Is single and works as a driving instruc<strong>to</strong>r at <strong>the</strong> Panoz Racing<br />

School. Drives a VW Eurovan and a Nissan pickup on <strong>the</strong> street. Favorite movie is Fight Club and<br />

racing heroes are Andy Pilgrim and Michael Galati.<br />

DASPEED driver development program. Won 2008 SCCA Spec Miata National<br />

Championship.<br />

Previously: Has 17 years <strong>of</strong> SCCA Solo and Club Racing experience, even<br />

running select Speedvision Cup races in 1997. Has competed in <strong>the</strong> Spec<br />

Miata class for two years. Has been a driving instruc<strong>to</strong>r for more than 10<br />

years with Panoz, <strong>the</strong> Porsche Driving School and MER Spec Miata Advanced<br />

Clinic. In 2006 was named Atlanta Region National Driver <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Year. Entered first MX-5 Cup race<br />

in 2007 finishing third after starting from pole.<br />

Viper.<br />

Previously: Has successfully competed in <strong>the</strong> Viper Racing League since<br />

1999. Took third in over<strong>all</strong> points in VRL in 2001 and second in points in<br />

2002. First event resulted in a sixth-place finish in a VRL event at Road<br />

America in August 1999. Has also driven in NASA and ASRA events. Ran one<br />

<strong>World</strong> Ch<strong>all</strong>enge GT race in a Mustang at Road Atlanta in 2000. In 2004,<br />

competed in two SPEED GT events, finishing 14th at Laguna Seca (WC career-high) after starting<br />

22nd. Earned <strong>the</strong> first two <strong>to</strong>p-10 finishes <strong>of</strong> his career in 2005, with a best finish <strong>of</strong> ninth at Road<br />

Atlanta (finished 10th at St. Pete). Campaigned first full season <strong>of</strong> SPEED GT piloting a Dodge Viper<br />

in 2006 and earned seven <strong>to</strong>p-10 finishes. Best race finish was sixth at Long Beach, earning him<br />

<strong>the</strong> Piloti Rookie <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Race award. Finished ninth in <strong>the</strong> Drivers’ Championship. Entered Rounds<br />

One through Six in 2007 driving a Dodge Viper earning two <strong>to</strong>p-five finishes, including a careerbest<br />

fourth at Lowe’s Mo<strong>to</strong>r Speedway. Switched <strong>to</strong> a Chevrolet Corvette for rounds seven through<br />

10.<br />

Personal: Born April 2, 1960. Drives a Dodge Viper on <strong>the</strong> street. Listens <strong>to</strong> classic rock and says<br />
