Bud 6V6 Tournament Update
A record 128 six-man teams—including three from Vietnam—
have been selected to compete in the 2010 Budweiser
International Cup 6V6 in Pretoria, South Africa. Teams will
compete for an all-expense-paid trip to South Africa to participate
in a 10-nation world final and watch two FIFA World
Cup Round-of-16 matches in person.
"This year's instalment is especially significant because
the grassroots nature of the event couldn't be more evident,"
says Walter Blocker, CEO of The GANNON Group. "Last year,
it was only open to teams in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. Now,
the best in Danang and Nha Trang have a chance.”
Last January, the VFF, Vietnam Football Development JSC
(VFD) and Budweiser launched the search for the finest sixplayer

On March 13th, Saigon Children’s Charity’s
10th Anniversary Cyclo Challenge took place
at the Taipei School. Thousands showed
their support for education programmes for
disadvantaged children by cheering on more
than 50 cyclo riding teams.
