4. Go <strong>to</strong> System Preference>Network>select the Ethernet>TCP/<strong>IP</strong>> <strong>use</strong> Manually for <strong>IP</strong><strong>address</strong>. Configure your <strong>Mac</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>use</strong> <strong>fix</strong> <strong>IP</strong> <strong>address</strong> 192.168.2.2, subnet mask =255.255.255.0, router = leave it blank. Please note that <strong>Range</strong> <strong>Extender</strong> only supports WEP, WPA(TK<strong>IP</strong>) or WPA2(AES). Enter yourwireless encryption accord<strong>in</strong>gly.For example, if you <strong>use</strong> WEP 64 bit, type your WEP key <strong>in</strong><strong>to</strong> Key 1. Enable the wireless connection <strong>in</strong> the <strong>Mac</strong> computer and connect it wirelessly <strong>to</strong> the<strong>Range</strong> <strong>Extender</strong>. NOTE: You can move the range extender <strong>to</strong> another room. <strong>How</strong>ever, please notethat if you move the range extender <strong>to</strong>o far from your router, it can getdisconnected from your router beca<strong>use</strong> the range extender is out of the wirelessrange of your router.
