All Ireland Traveller Health StudySECTION C2: HEALTH SERVICESUTILISATIONThe Adult Health Services Utilisation Questionnaire was answered by up to 2,373 respondents (1,968 inROI and 405 in NI).Patterns of Health UtilisationSources of Information and Ease of AccessRespondents accessed information about health from a range of sources. The most frequently citedsource was the GP (91.1% ROI and 89.0% NI), followed by family or friends (31.8% ROI and 35.8%NI); Traveller community health workers (29.4% ROI and 8.4% NI); PHN (28.0% in ROI) or healthvisitor (6.3% in NI); and Primary Care Projects (25.0% in ROI) and Health Organisations (5.0% in NI).The most commonly cited source of information (the GP) did not differ appreciably across sex or agegroup of respondent.
