Forinstance 72.3% in ROI and 73.5% in NI thought their access to A & E was the same, with 14.9% in ROIand 17.9% in NI rating their access as worse, and 12.8% in ROI and 8.6% in NI as better, than everyoneelse. The views of men and women were comparable on this point and the oldest respondents weresomewhat more likely to rate their access as the same as others. There was no real difference in patternaccording to the specified service.170
