The membership of this reference group is outlined in the flowchart in Figure 6. Pavee Pointresource the National Traveller Health network and the Traveller Community Development Programmenetwork, and obtained a commitment from the National Association of Traveller Centres (NATC) towork towards ensuring maximum participation of all national Traveller networks in the study. PaveePoint also has formal and informal links to groups such as the Garda ethnic liaison officers, the networkof visiting teachers for Travellers, the preschools for Travellers, local family resource centres and areabased partnership companies. These vocational groups and organisations were contacted to supportnationwide population coverage of the AITHS, and to provide information about the study to Travellerswho used their service. They were also targeted with ongoing information and training on the study.32
