I had no idea of where itwould take me or how long itwould end up being; I was goingby instinct, not knowing whatwould happen in the next scene.“The making of the film is easierthan what you may think. Themain problem was the folding ofthe paper couldn’t be animated.Therefore I threw away a numberof sheets before arriving at theright way to make it function.“I had a clear idea I wanted to dosomething grotesque, noir andamusing.
