USING THE AIR MASK5. Install the battery cap on the FireHawk <strong>M7</strong> PowerModule battery tube. Tighten the battery cap by rotatingit clockwise until it is snug. Failure to fully installthe battery cap may prevent the battery tube frombeing water tight.6. Dispose of, or recycle batteries, in accordance with allapplicable federal, state, and local regulations.Turning OFF the FireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Control Module afterDoffing the Air <strong>Mask</strong>Turn the FireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Control Module off after doffingair mask; otherwise, batteries will be drained. TheFireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Control Module does not shut off automatically.1. Upon returning to fresh air, close the cylinder valvecompletely and release all pressure from the air mask.2. When the pressure falls below 200 psi, turn theFireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Control Module off by pressing the resetbutton (yellow) two times within approximately onesecond.a. The FireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Power Module will beep oncewhen the reset button is pressed once. Pressing thereset button a second time will then sound threebeeps (“bee-bop-bop”) to indicate that the unit isturned off.
