REMOVING THE AIR MASKDISCONNECTING THE SLIDE-TO-CONNECTFIREHAWK REGULATOR1. Grasp the top of theregulator.2. Push the side releasebuttons and pull theregulator down and outof facepiece.Note: The regulator can hang on cover rail in a stand-bymode.5. When the pressure falls below 200 psi, turn theFireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Control Module off by pressing the resetbutton (yellow) two times within approximately onesecond.Note: FireHawk <strong>M7</strong> HUD will automatically turn itself OFF,approximately 60 seconds after the air mask has beendepressurized. (The single red LED will flash until theFireHawk <strong>M7</strong> HUD turns off)6. Stow the <strong>Firehawk</strong> Regulator, oriented with the slidebutton facing down in the belt mounted holder when itis not in use.7. To remove the facepiece, fully loosen the harnessstraps and pull the facepiece up and away from theface.8. To remove the carrier and harness, press the waistbelt buckle release button IN.9. Disconnect the chest strap buckle (if used).10. To loosen the shoulder straps, grasp the pull tabs andpush them out and away from the body.11. Slip the right arm out of the shoulder strap first, andthen remove the harness.Note: Be sure to replace the cylinder with a fully chargedone. Complete Inspection and Cleaning and DisinfectingProcedures outlined in this manual. Ensure that the completeSCBA is clean and dry. Ensure that facepiece headharness straps and harness adjustment straps are fullyextended. Place the complete air mask in the storagecase or suitable storage location so that it can be easilyreached for emergency use. (See storage instructions.)3. Slide the regulator upthe cover rail until theregulator slide button isfree of the cover rail.4. Close the cylindervalve fully. Open the<strong>Firehawk</strong> Regulatorbypass to release systempressure. Closethe bypass.DISCONNECTING THE FIREHAWKPUSH-TO-CONNECT REGULATOR1. Grasp the top of the regulator.2. Push the side release buttons and pull the regulatorout of facepiece.3. Close the cylinder valve fully. Open the <strong>Firehawk</strong>Regulator bypass to release system pressure. Closethe bypass.4. When the pressure falls below 200 psi, turn theFireHawk <strong>M7</strong> Control Module off by depressing thereset button (yellow) two times within approximatelyone second.Note: The FireHawk <strong>M7</strong> HUD will automatically turn itselfOFF, approximately 60 seconds after the air mask hasbeen depressurized. (A single red LED will flash until theFireHawk <strong>M7</strong> HUD turns off)5. Stow the <strong>Firehawk</strong> Regulator in the belt mountedholder when it is not in use.6.
