In this work, several sound massesare presented in various manners: sparse, quiet, rhythmic, etc. The sounds derive theiroriginal source from general surroundings in the city: trains, cement mixers, water fixtures...Cory (C. R. Kasprzyk) is very tired. I wanted excitement anddanger and the chance to sacrifice myself for my love. I felt in myself a superabundance ofenergy which found no outlet in our quiet life.”This quote constitutes the text for the end of the piece. I think there is a similarity betweenthe feelings expressed by the author and the overwhelming hubris it took to volunteer forsomething like 24hc.
