The club owesan enormous debt to Jacky for his many years of service to the club. This has included eight years asPresident (2001‐2009) and an extraordinary 11 years as Treasurer (1986‐1997).As a player, Jacky was a member of two premiership winning teams – the 1976/77 Poidevin‐GrayShield team and the 1977/78 2nd Grade team.Jacky, from everyone at UNSWCC … thank you!The following description of Jackywas provided by AndrewMcMaster and John Rogers whendescribing some club champions aspart of the club’s 2007 publication“UNSWCC – Five Summers, FiveFlags 1976‐1981”:Peter Jourdain ‐ ‘Jacky’ was part ofthe Southern Riverina mafia thatinvaded the club in the mid to late70s. A seriously good middle‐orderbatsman, who honed his financialskills during a period as clubtreasurer before continuing this inhis career as the ‘fix‐it’ man forvarious accounting firms andinternational media barons.Nicknamed ‘Jacky’ after a Pot Blackpersonality, many of his waywardUni days were spent in snookerhalls all over Sydney. The 1976/77 Poidevin‐Gray Shield premiership winning team.Amongst other club luminaries, that’s Jacky in the front row, first on the left.Page 12 Season 2008/2009
