ThomoʹsTroopers won the toss an elected to bat, scraping together 138. A hostile opening spell from Langyand Smally saw their demise, however useful hands were still contributed by Deano, RedmanStewart & Hanso. Tappyʹs Tigers only received one over (in which Pradʹs pumped Bossy for 10)before the biggest storm in history arrived.Thanks must go primarily to Jebby who organized the canteen and catering, to Charlie and JulieLawson for helping in the canteen, the tunes provided by Tiffany Towers on the boom box (my Earsare still bleeding !) and the musical talents of Ben Lawsonʹs Band, to Hans VDG on the scoreboardand to our Umpʹs for the game ‐ Paul ʺSneakyʺ Serov and Bowy ‐ who so willingly provided hisruthless interpretation (although apparently unaware of certain complexities regarding the LBW lawat the time).
