WARNING: When breaking down bulk packs, take care to stand clearof pipe while strapping is being cut. Coiled HDPE pipe maycontain energy as in a spring. Both the straps and the pipemay spring outward when the strap is cut and could causesevere injury. All safety precautions and proper equipmentis required.6. WARNING: Before cutting coiled pipe, restrain both sides of cut. Pipeis under tension. Unrestrained pipe can spring back forciblywhile being cut and could cause personal injury.7. WARNING: Understand and follow all equipment manufacturer’s recommendationsand guidelines.8. WARNING: Properly made heat fusion joints do not leak. An improperlymade joint that leaks when pressurized may precede acatastrophic event that may result in violent or dangerouspipe movement, a sudden release of the system’s pressurizedcontents, and the potential for personal injury.
