GRADUATIONUpon successfully completing the LLM course you will be awarded the degree of Master ofLaw. You will receive your Degree in person at a formal graduation ceremony in the SenateHouse. Although this is a University ceremony, graduation at Cambridge is organised on acollege basis. You will therefore graduate together with the other students of your college(undergraduate and post-graduate) who have completed their courses in 2012 (and not withthe other members of your LLM class, unless they are at the same college as you).This year’s graduation ceremonies (formally called ‘General Admission’), will take place on28, 29 and 30 June 2012. You will be informed by your college of the date and time atwhich you will be admitted to your degree. You may invite your parents and friends toattend the ceremony. Many LLM students choose to remain in Cambridge between the endof Easter Full Term and General Admission, so as to enjoy the many events which takeplace during and after the period known as ‘May Week’, a time of celebration in Cambridge.11.
