F.A.M.E. Says Thanks<br />
The members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> The <strong>Fairhaven</strong><br />
Association for Music Education<br />
(F.A.M.E.) would like <strong>to</strong> thank <strong>the</strong><br />
community for supporting <strong>the</strong><br />
concession stand at all four home<br />
football games this fall.<br />
This tremendous response will<br />
allow F.A.M.E. <strong>to</strong> continue providing<br />
music scholarships and o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
support for <strong>the</strong> <strong>to</strong>wn <strong>of</strong> <strong>Fairhaven</strong>’s<br />
active music department. F.A.M.E.<br />
continues <strong>to</strong> meet on <strong>the</strong> first<br />
Thursday <strong>of</strong> every month at 6:30 p.m.<br />
in <strong>the</strong> Hastings Middle School<br />
cafeteria and all are welcome.<br />
Plans are currently being made for<br />
visibility at <strong>the</strong> <strong>Fairhaven</strong> <strong>to</strong>wn hall<br />
shops in December and all <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
wonderful school holiday programs,<br />
<strong>the</strong> 6th Annual F.A.M.E. C<strong>of</strong>feehouse<br />
on January 25, 2013 and <strong>the</strong> Super<br />
Sub Sale on February 3, 2013. F.A.M.E.<br />
is always looking for new ideas,<br />
members, and sponsors.<br />

Save Livesey Park<br />
Looking for Vendors<br />
On Saturday November 10th t<strong>here</strong><br />
will be a family fundraising event at<br />
Livesey Park. All proceeds will go <strong>to</strong><br />
cleaning up and res<strong>to</strong>ring <strong>the</strong><br />
skatepark as well as o<strong>the</strong>r parts <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
park. This project was started by a<br />
group <strong>of</strong> 8th grade Hastings Middle<br />
School students. We are looking for<br />
vendors who would like <strong>to</strong> come for<br />
<strong>the</strong> day and sell food, drinks and<br />
merchandise. The event will run from<br />
11am-4pm on Saturday, Nov. 10. T<strong>here</strong><br />
will be planned contests, games,<br />
bouncy houses and much more for<br />
families <strong>to</strong> enjoy. This event is open<br />
<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> public and free <strong>to</strong> attend.<br />
