TRAVELING EXHIBITS
Many aspects of our lives are designed & maintained by engineers, from
buildings to traffic lights, and even the Internet.
Tech City features 12 highly interactive exhibit stations that illustrate realworld
engineering challenges. Each challenge has goals and constraints
that are solved using engineering techniques and includes opportunities
for designing, building, testing, & modifying.
This exhibition was developed by Sciencenter and Cornell university, Ithaca,
New York, with major funding from the National Science Foundation.
Tech City will be open October 1, 2009 – January 2010.
