GARDENING CLASSES
Session 1 Learn Landscape Design Techniques Used by Professionals:
Take some photos (optional) of one area of your front or back yard and
bring them to class. At the end of the 3rd class, you will take home some
great ideas, a landscape design specifically for you and a Plan of Action.
Class also includes plant selection (sun,shade,Florida-friendly, and easy
care).
Session 2 When Your Garden Misbehaves: Have the bugs flourishing in
your garden invited their “extended families”? Is your grass giving you attitude?
Would seeing the variety of fascinating weeds on your property be
a good “field trip” for budding horticulture students? Any answer close to
“yes” means you need this class.
Material in Session 1 and 2 will be different. Min-5;max-36

The holidays will be upon us very soon! Our cooking workshops will focus
on holiday cooking and baking---inexpensive, yet elegant dishes and
baked goods. Forget the Honey Baked Ham, we’ll teach you how to make
one better! Learn to make Cornish Hens, chocolate truffles, sweet potato
soufflé, fresh cranberry sauce, potato pancakes, Tzimmes, chocolate ganache,
colorful dishes and more! Whether you’re entertaining at home,
invited to an office party or a “special gathering”, we’ll help get you ready
and create it all without a lot of fuss. Classes are “hands on,” so roll up your
sleeves and get ready to have some home cooked fun! *Please note that
you will be registering for all 3 dates listed below, and you must register 5

LEARN TO SEW
Make clothes for yourself or family. All levels taught. Also learn how to alter
clothes professionally, Must bring own sewing machine. Come prepared
to work on first day with fabric, pattern, scissors, pins, thread, ext. Learn

ACTING – SHOWCASE THEATER CLASS
This is an on-your-feet class with students (must be over 18) learning the
skills of acting and/or musical theater while having fun and building confidence.
Students will learn about characterization, projection, timing, stage
movement, and stage production. The 2½ hour class includes instruction
in a selected topic, rehearsing scenes and monologues, and performing
for the group. A public performance will be scheduled for early December
based on class content and level of student participation. Min-11;max-25

BALLROOM DANCE CLASSES
Always a happy, friendly atmosphere appealing to all ages! Dancers of all
levels benefit from Lee’s experience and detailed instruction. FOXTROT,
WALTZ, SWING, TANGO, HuSTLE, CHACHA, MAMBO/SALSA, MERENGuE,
SAMBA, AND RuMBA. Much attention is given to leading and following
techniques plus styling. Singles and couples welcome.

JOY OF PAINTING - OILS, ACRYLICS, PASTELS
Advanced or beginner, you have much to gain in the way of personal
growth. Painting never leaves us where it finds us. You will find an increase
in perceptual, analytical, and inner spiritual growth. Art is of the soul. Practice
makes perfect and this class will bring you along to a deeper realization
color, form and understanding of making a better painting through
the unique abilities of a teacher who has been re-inventing it all for over 20
years. Please choose only one medium (oil, acrylic, or pastel) to work in. For
