GARDENING CLASSES<br />
Session 1 Learn Landscape Design Techniques Used by Pr<strong>of</strong>essionals:<br />
Take some photos (optional) <strong>of</strong> one area <strong>of</strong> your front or back yard and<br />
bring them to class. At the end <strong>of</strong> the 3rd class, you will take home some<br />
great ideas, a landscape design specifically for you and a Plan <strong>of</strong> Action.<br />
Class also includes plant selection (sun,shade,Florida-friendly, and easy<br />
care).<br />
Session 2 When Your Garden Misbehaves: Have the bugs flourishing in<br />
your garden invited their “extended families”? Is your grass giving you attitude?<br />
Would seeing the variety <strong>of</strong> fascinating weeds on your property be<br />
a good “field trip” for budding horticulture students? Any answer close to<br />
“yes” means you need this class.<br />

The holidays will be upon us very soon! Our cooking workshops will focus<br />
on holiday cooking and baking---inexpensive, yet elegant dishes and<br />
baked goods. Forget the Honey Baked Ham, we’ll teach you how to make<br />
one better! Learn to make Cornish Hens, chocolate truffles, sweet potato<br />
soufflé, fresh cranberry sauce, potato pancakes, Tzimmes, chocolate ganache,<br />
colorful dishes and more! Whether you’re entertaining at home,<br />
invited to an <strong>of</strong>fice party or a “special gathering”, we’ll help get you ready<br />
and create it all without a lot <strong>of</strong> fuss. Classes are “hands on,” so roll up your<br />

ACTING – SHOWCASE THEATER CLASS<br />
This is an on-your-feet class with students (must be over 18) learning the<br />
skills <strong>of</strong> acting and/or musical theater while having fun and building confidence.<br />
Students will learn about characterization, projection, timing, stage<br />
movement, and stage production. The 2½ hour class includes instruction<br />
in a selected topic, rehearsing scenes and monologues, and performing<br />
for the group. A public performance will be scheduled for early December<br />
based on class content and level <strong>of</strong> student participation. Min-11;max-25<br />

BALLROOM DANCE CLASSES<br />
Always a happy, friendly atmosphere appealing to all ages! Dancers <strong>of</strong> all<br />
levels benefit from Lee’s experience and detailed instruction. FOXTROT,<br />
WALTZ, SWING, TANGO, HuSTLE, CHACHA, MAMBO/SALSA, MERENGuE,<br />
SAMBA, AND RuMBA. Much attention is given to leading and following<br />
techniques plus styling. Singles and couples welcome.<br />

JOY OF PAINTING - OILS, ACRYLICS, PASTELS<br />
Advanced or beginner, you have much to gain in the way <strong>of</strong> personal<br />
growth. Painting never leaves us where it finds us. You will find an increase<br />
in perceptual, analytical, and inner spiritual growth. Art is <strong>of</strong> the soul. Practice<br />
makes perfect and this class will bring you along to a deeper realization<br />
color, form and understanding <strong>of</strong> making a better painting through<br />
the unique abilities <strong>of</strong> a teacher who has been re-inventing it all for over 20<br />
