Boat Launch<br />

and Recovery Permit<br />

Silver Palm Park Boat Ramp<br />

Vehicles entering Silver Palm Park towing a watercraft trailer are required to obtain a BOAT LAuNCH and RECOVERY PERMIT or a ONE DAY<br />

VISITOR PERMIT. Permits are valid for a one year period (October 1 throughSeptember 30) and are not prorated.un-permitted vehicles with<br />

watercraft trailers are subject to a $25 fine and towing at owner’s expenses.<br />

Permits may be purchased at <strong>Boca</strong> <strong>Raton</strong> Community Center, <strong>Boca</strong> <strong>Raton</strong> <strong>City</strong> Hall, James A. Rutherford Community Center,Sugar Sand Community<br />

Center. (See Beach Permit Information on page 48 for hours and location.) Permits are not transferable and must be permanently affixed to the bottom<br />

left front <strong>of</strong> the interior windshield glass <strong>of</strong>the vehicle in order to be admitted into the park. Any transfer <strong>of</strong> the permit will result in revocation. Vehicles<br />

without permits properly affixed to the windshield glass will not be allowed to enter the park until permits are properly affixed. Permit CANNOT be<br />

taped to windshield glass or placed on paper or transparencies.<br />

A ONE-DAY visit will require the boater to obtain a daily permit at one <strong>of</strong> the above locations prior to launching water-craft. Permit must be placed in the<br />

lower left-hand corner on the dashboard, visible for review. A ONE-DAY visitor permit expires 24 hours after issuance.<br />

FEES (tax included): ANNUAL FEE DAILY FEE<br />

Palm Beach County Resident $37 $15<br />

Non-Palm Beach County Resident $395 $45<br />

HOW TO OBTAIN PERMIT:<br />

Applicants are required to provide a document from both #1 & 2:<br />

1. Present their <strong>of</strong>ficial state motor vehicle registration, or title, or current bill <strong>of</strong> sale, or rental/lease agreement (with applicant’s name) for each vehicle.<br />

2. Prove residency in Palm Beach County by providing one <strong>of</strong> the following current documents showing resident’s name and Palm Beach County<br />

address: current driver’s license, city/county tax bill, unpaid telephone bill, water deposit receipt, Florida power/light bill, rental or lease agreement,<br />

notarized letter from condo association.<br />

3. university students and faculty residing on campus in Palm Beach County may establish pro<strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong> residency by submitting a signed letter by the Director<br />

<strong>of</strong> Housing, certifying campus residency.<br />

Field Rental Fees<br />

The following fees will be charged for issuing a permit for any adult group requesting useage <strong>of</strong> an athletic field owned by the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Boca</strong> <strong>Raton</strong>.<br />

Fees and inventory <strong>of</strong> fields available for rental subject to change.<br />

Resident Non-Resident<br />

• Baseball/S<strong>of</strong>tball Field $20 per hour $110 per hour<br />

• Soccer/Football Field $25 per hour $140 per hour<br />

• Basketball Courts(Woodlands Park)<br />

Volleyball Courts(Meadows Park – Sand Court): $13 per hour $70 per hour<br />

• Batting Cage $10.25 per hour $30.75 per hour<br />

For miscellaneous additional services (drag, line, paint fields), please call for rates.<br />

1.For up to 2 uses per month,permit will be based on single person residency status.<br />

2.Game, league, tournament, multiple or continuous usage residency status will be determined by roster submitted with residency being based on 66%<br />

3.Refunds will be made for permits cancelled by the Athletics Department due to inclement weather causing field closure prior to reserved time.<br />

4.Resident– Resides in the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Boca</strong> <strong>Raton</strong> or <strong>Greater</strong> <strong>Boca</strong> <strong>Raton</strong> Beach and Park District.<br />
