40 Elevation to Kra Consciousnesshuman society. Regardless of what class we belongto, if we cooperate in Krf?Q.a consciousness, there willbe peace in the world. Thus Krr?Q.a consciousness is the utmost necessityfor all divisions of society. Every chapter and everyconclusion of Bhagavad-gftii aim toward Krr?Q.a consciousness.Sri Kn>Q.a, who is speaking Bhagavad-gftii,is always stressing devotion to His personal Self.manmanii bhava madbhaktomad-_yiifi miirh nama kurumiim evai_yasi sat_yarh tepratijiine pri_yo 'si me"Always think of Me and become My devotee. WorshipMe and offer your homage unto Me. Thus youwill come to Me without fail. I promise you thisbecause you are My very dear friend." (Bg. 18.65)Throughout Bhagavad-gftii we find this word miimstressed. Miim means "unto Me," meaning untoKrf?Q.a. But there are many miscreants who are interpretingthis miim to mean "everyone." When Isay, "Bring me a glass of water," does it mean thatI want you to bring everyone a glass of water? Theindividuality is there, but by jugglery of words theyinterpret "me" or "I" to mean "everyone." Consequentlywhen KrQa says "I," the miscreantsidentify this "I" with themselves. This is a grossmisinterpretation. Although Bhagavad-gftii is verypopular in the world, due to this misinterpretationby mundane scholars, it has not been properly understood.
