4SECTION 5EVALUATION AND CLOSURESession 5.1: Evaluation and closureTrainer's resource ‘B’ : Closing games1. Rainstorm - cooling down game: Gather the participants standing in a circle facinginwards. Stand in the center of the circle facing the participants. Tell the participants thatyou are going to create a "rainstorm." They are to do what you do when you make eyecontact with them and continue doing that until you come back around the circle to themagain, then they should do the new action you show them. Then they will do the samewhat you are doing at that time, continue until you come back around and so on. Movequickly and smoothly around the circle meeting every one eye to eye. Change actionswhen you have made a complete circle.Here are the actions:<strong>Facilitator</strong> <strong>Guide</strong>4Adherence to Treatment for HIVBegin by rubbing your hands together (gentle rain)Snap fingers together (harder rain)Clap hands on thighs (even harder rain)Stomp feet (thunder)Then go in reverse:Clap hands on thighsSnap fingers togetherRub hands togetherEnd by holding your hand silently at your mouth (in a silent "shush" action)As you go around the circle the storm will gradually build, peak, then ebb away tocalm. When all is quiet, have the participants thanked.2. Circle of lightLighting candles and standing in a circle, the participants are encouraged to talk abouttheir feeling about the training, their future plans about taking their training forward.<strong>Facilitator</strong> should make arrangement for candles and matches to light them in advance.Also make arrangements for a safe place where they can put their lighted candlesaway, like a tray with sand in it, or a cardboard box with sand in it.130
