With the three-day weekend in mind,two evening events have been added for those who purchase specialVIP Passports.In addition to the daytime wine and food tastings, VIP Passportholders may begin the weekend with a Friday night Magnum Party atMumm Napa. Saturday evening, VIP Passport holders will be invitedto attend a winemaker dinner at Alpha Omega <strong>Wine</strong>ry featuringvintner and Rutherford Dust Society President Robin Baggett’s “almostfamous” BBQ and Rutherford vintners pouring their wines.On Saturday and Sunday all Passport holders will be offeredunique wine tastings and “toasted” fare foods to pair with them (thinkcrostini, toasted chestnuts, French toast) by 19 Rutherford wineries,some of which are normally open by appointment only. Each winerywill offer a special tasting experience such as barrel samples, limitededition wines, or tastings with the winemaker, all accompanied bytoasted fare.
