Thisensures that even if the decision in principleis to not proceed with investigating the use ofelectronic voting and counting technologies,the work invested in the feasibility study canbe used in the future as a starting point forreconsideration if requirements, financialconsiderations or electronic voting andcounting products change.Should the Feasibility Study Committeedecide there is sufficient reason to continueits consideration of using electronic votingor counting technologies, then it will need torecommend that a pilot project be conductedand clearly define the mandate andparameters for this pilot.
