FOR REFERENCE ONLY (NOVEMBER 2013)LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORDINANCE 1961(No. 11 of 1961)KUDAT TOWN BOARD(DISCOUNT OF RATES) BY-LAWS 1988(G.N.L 22 of 1990)In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 50 and 86(2) of the LocalGovernment Ordinance 1961, the Kudat Town Board, with the approval of the Ministerhereby makes the following by-laws:Title and commencement.1. These by-laws may be cited as the Kudat Town Board (Discount of Rates) By-laws1988 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of April 1988.Discount.2. Notwithstanding the provision in the Board Rates Order, a discount of 5% will beallowed by the Board on the annual rate if the whole of such annual rate is paid by theowners of rateable property on or before the 31st March of each year.Dated at Kudat this 6th day of April 1990.CHIN WUI KEE,Commissioner,Kudat Town Board.1
