10 Future viewIt is assumed that the Lubna landfill will be closed in the beginning of 2004. Remedial works (i.e.finishing the mineral capping system, growing plants, extending the degassing system and finalsolution of leachate utilisation) are planned to be performed during the following years. The landfillarea will be monitored within the next 15 years.
