Once a week, remove the medication canister from the plastic cas<strong>in</strong>g and wash theplastic cas<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> warm, soapy water. When the cas<strong>in</strong>g is dry, replace the medication canister <strong>in</strong> the cas<strong>in</strong>gand place the cap on the mouthpiece. Ensure that the hole is clear. Check the expiry date. Check to see howmuch medication is <strong>in</strong> the <strong>in</strong>haler as described previously.Hold<strong>in</strong>g Chambers/SpacersA number <strong>of</strong> different hold<strong>in</strong>g chambers are available on the market. Different pharmaceutical companiesmake different devices.
