Cancer is the second most common cause of death in the Westernworld (after heart disease). The development of a homeopathic remedy derivedfrom cancerous tissue is attributed to two British homeopaths, Dr. Compton Burnettand Dr. Clarke, who first proved the remedy in the late 19th century. Its uses havewidened considerably following work by Dr. D. M. Foubister of the Royal LondonHomeopathic Hospital and research published by the US homeopath Dr. J. Shore in1989. Physicalsymptoms may be positively or negativelyaffected by being at the seaside. These peoplegenerally feel better for dancing or whenlistening to music. Their symptoms may berelieved by lying with the knees drawn up tothe elbows.Carcinosin may be prescribed for those whohave a personal or family history of cancer,diabetes, or tuberculosis. In some cases theremedy may even be used in the treatment ofthe actual diseases. The remedy also has anaffinity with those who have a history ofemotional stress, or who are recovering fromchronic fatigue syndrome or mononucleosis.Chronic fatigue syndromeSYMPTOMS Weakness and exhaustion,associated with tenderness in the muscles.This is often accompanied by dizziness,numbness, and nausea. Frequent colds andrecurrent acute illnesses are commoncharacteristic traits. There may be depressionand a loss of concentration.
