The MultiDirect is a contemporary, microprocessor-controlledphotometer with ergonomicallydesigned keypad and large-format graphic display.It is equipped with a wide range of pre-programmedmethods based on the proven range ofLovibond ® tablet reagents, liquid reagents, tubetests and powder reagents (VARIO Powder Packs).Users can also store their own methods.The MultiDirect is a filter photometer using interferencefilters at 6 different wavelengths. Theunique design of the optics allows the automaticselection of the required wavelength without anymoving parts. This and the dual beam technologyutilizing an internal reference channel, guaranteesthe highest accuracy.For portable use, the instrument operates withseven standard rechargeable batteries (supplied).These batteries are available all over the worldand are easily changed. The integrated intelligentcharge controller allows simultaneous operationof the unit and battery charging (using the suppliedpower pack). The MultiDirect also operateswithout a power pack by using alkalinemanganese batteries.The entire instrument, including samplechamber (the most critical component of anyphotometer) and battery compartment, iswaterproof, ensuring that no water comes incontact with the electronic components.PolynomialsWith the help of an external mathematical program,the corresponding polynomial is createdfrom data pairs (concentration/absorption). Aknown polynomial may also be used. 25 order polynomials(y = A+Bx+Cx 2 +Dx 3 +EX 4 + FX 5 ) can bestored together with user-specific parameters suchas wavelength, measuring range, unit and numberof decimals.Applications■ Waste Water■ Drinking Water■ Industrial Process Water■ Scientific & ResearchConcentrationThis function can be used to measure 2 to 14known standards.
