We willbegin by collecting artifacts, documents and publications found in the files withinthe synagogue offices and storerooms.Within <strong>Adath</strong>'s congregational families there are personal papers, letters andphotos documenting our ancillary organizations from various periods of our history.Our second goal will be to collect and process these collections. The Fundsupports the purchase or rental of products and services that enable congregantsof all ages with special needs to participate in religious, cultural and educationalactivities in the synagogue. Over the years, it has provided shuttle bustransportation during the High Holy Days and this year helped ensure that wehad large print copies of the new Mahzor Lev Shalem available.The Ronna and Victor Goldsteen Fund was created by Dr. David Goldsteen andMarcia Cohodes in memory of his parents to support inclusion and adult educationfor the <strong>Adath</strong> community and in the greater Minneapolis Jewish community.This Fund has played an integral role supporting our Shabbat Morning Program’sspecial needs instructor position in order to provide individualized teachingfor children with special needs in grades 5-7 at SMP every Shabbat.As our <strong>Adath</strong> community continues to grow and change, we remain committed tomaking Judaism and synagogue life accessible.
