I/We agree that:-::12::GENERAL CONDITION1. The supplies will be tendered in accordance with the specification and special conditionsattached hereto in Tender Documents including the SCHEDULE and as referred in contactacceptance of Tender letter.2. The supplies tendered will be subject to inspection and approval by the board of officer ofthe Concerned DIG/Commandant, any supply rejected by the above authorities on inspectionbefore or during the issue will be replaced. The officer concerned may proceed to procure thesupplies at my/our risk and expense under the provision of clause 7(i) of the tender any suppliesissued from Govt. stock in accordance with clause 7(ii) of tender shall be charged at Govt. issuerates published from time to time.3. In case of dispute between me/us and officer operating the contract regardingquality/quantity of the supplies tender, I/We agree to abide by the decision of the DIG(TEZPUR) ITBPF or of such officer as may be detailed by him to investigate case and hisdecision shall be final and binding.4. The tenderers should specially mention the rates of Sales Tax and other taxes liable.5. (a) The receipt for transaction will be certified by the concerned units/SHQrs whichwill support my/our bill for audit and payment.(b) I am/we are required to acknowledge the receipt of all Cheques Bank drafts issuedin my favour with regard to cheques sent to me/us by post. I/we shall acknowledge receiptwithin fifteen days from the date of their receipt. Failure on my/our part ofacknowledgement of receipt will render me/us liable to forfeit privilege for receivingcheques by post and unless I/we furnished the satisfactory explanation for my/our defaultin this respect payments through cheques and Bank drafts sent by post shall not beresumed and I/we shall be required to obtain cheques to future payments on this contractfrom the Concerned Units of ITBPF or his representative after rendering proper receipt.6. In the event of an agent employed by me/us for the delivery of supplies such agent mustbe approved by the supply officer concerned, if considered undesirable by the officer operatingthe contract he will be replaced by me/us by suitable and desirable person.7. Any restriction whatever imposed by the local or provincial Govt. on the export or importof the articles contracted for will not absolve me/us from the obligation of this contract and willnot be accepted as an excuse for non delivery of the same.8. I/We shall be responsible to pay octroi/sales or any other Tax liable on contract suppliesto Municipal Committee or any other civil authority wherever applicable as we are quoting ourrates on FOR destination basis.9. I/we fully understand that this contract is liable to terminate at 20 days notice, should achange in the system be ordered by DIG(TEZPUR) ITBPF, CHARDUAR, DISTT: SONITPUR(ASSAM). We also agree that DIG (Tezpur) can also increase the duration of contract up to 2months on his own and further up to 4 more months subject to taking our concurrence in writingwithout any change in rates or condition of tenders.Earnest Money ` 2,23,000/- (` Two lakhs twenty three thousand only) is to be depositedwith Tender documents.
