Room RatesTHE LIBRARY - $150.00The Library is a beautiful recently redecorated room with warm wood paneling, richwoodwork, and high ceilings. It is suitable for a sit-down meeting or dinner for up to 36guests. It can include a comfortable furnished seating area in front of the copper fireplace.The private deck with cozy patio furniture boasts views of Boundary Bay and Mount Baker.THE BANQUET ROOM - $300.00This room is the largest single hospitality space available for use at Beach Grove Golf Club.It is suitable for a dinner/dance for up to 60 guests or a seated dinner for up to 90 guests.A private bar is located inside and the room opens onto a large patio with spectacularviews of the golf course.THE BANQUET ROOM/DINING ROOM - $400.00Partition walls can be opened between the Banquet Room and the Dining Room to create aspace suitable for dinner and dance for up to 120 guests or a sit-down dinner for up to 150guests. This is our most popular banquet facility. It includes the private bar located insidethe banquet room and also opens to the spacious patio overlooking the immaculate golfcourse.THE ENTIRE FRONT OF THE CLUBHOUSE - $600.00For a larger group it is possible to open all partition walls so that the banquet room, diningroom and the member’s mixed grill can be enjoyed as one large space. This area would besuitable for dinner/dance for up to 180 guests, sit-down dinner for 200 or a cocktailreception for up to 300 guests. It has a beautiful fireplace and opens on to a large patiowith spectacular views of the golf course. Adhering to Club PolicyThe use of cellular phones for verbal communication and use of laptop computers are notpermitted in any of the public dining areas, including the Bistro. A house phone is available foryour use in the phone room on the upper floor of the clubhouse.The following apparel is not allowed anywhere on the premises: Golf shoes in the upstairsareas, clothing items that are ripped, torn, stained or acid-washed, all headgear, including hatsand visors in the upstairs areas.These policies are also in effect during any other visits to the clubhouse to setup, takedown, orplan your event.The management and staff of Beach Grove Golf Club are empowered by the Board ofDirectors to enforce these Rules of Conduct as well as Dress Code. All costsassociated with the function including extraordinary clean up or damage is theresponsibility of the organizer or member and will be applied to the final bill.CONFIRMATIONSA guaranteed number of guests is required 7 business days prior to your event.The guaranteed number is not subject to reduction. On the day of an event, aheadcount will be conducted. If there is a discrepancy in the number of guestsattending, we shall deem the larger number correct.MENU SELECTIONAll catering services, including food and beverage, must be provided by B.G.C.C.Exceptions may apply to services that the club cannot offer. These services may besubject to a surcharge. One menu selection is required for all guests. Limiteddietary substitutions may be made upon prior requests. These requests must beforwarded to the catering department no later than one-week before the event.Final menu selection must be arranged with the catering office no later than 7 daysprior to the event date. The substitution of wedding cakes for desserts included inour catering menu is only permitted for specialty cakes purchases from a reputablebusiness. All corkage events arerespectfully declined. This complies with British Columbia Liquor Laws stating thatbeverages cannot be brought into or taken out of a licensed establishment.CASH & HOST BARSA bartender fee of $20.00 per hour will apply (minimum of 4 hours) to any barsetup with sales of less than $500.00, where applicable.HEALTH REGULATIONSHealth regulations and the Provincial Liquor Act prohibit the removal of food oralcohol during or after a function by the organizer or guests.FUNCTION ROOMB.G.G.C. reserves the right to provide an alternate function space that is best suitedfor the group should the number of guests differ from the contracted number.ON SITE CEREMONIESOn site ceremonies are available inside and outside the clubhouse and are subjectto a charge ($200.00 for inside ceremonies, $100.00 for outside ceremonies).DECORATINGThe B.G.G.C. catering department must approve any signage or decorations beforethey are displayed. The use of nails, tacks or any other damaging hanging deviceis strictly prohibited as is the use of confetti. A $200.00 charge will be levied forthe cleanup of any confetti or confetti-like decorations. Please be advised that thetimes designated on your contract are politely enforced. All decorations anddecorators must be vacated no later than one hour past the designated end time.A surcharge of $200.00 for every hour, or portion thereof, past the designatedtime will be charged. If staff is required to remove chair covers following an event,a surcharge of $1.00 per chair will be applied. B.G.G.C. reserves the right tocharge accordingly for any broken items or damages to the clubhouse. B.G.G.C. isnot responsible for any decorations/items left behind following an event. Terms & ConditionsContinued…MUSICThe Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) levy afee applicable to all functions using music for entertainment purpose. SOCAN feesare $59.17 for dancing and $29.56 without dancing (plus GST) and are applied tothe final bill.DRESS CODEGuests must abide by the dress code policy of B.G.G.C. in that proper attire mustbe worn in and around the clubhouse: i.e. no ripped/torn attire, no tank tops or t-shirts, no short skirts, etc. This includes any visits to the clubhouse to setup,takedown or plan your event.SMOKINGPlease be advised smoking is strictly prohibited inside the clubhouse and on all ofour upstairs patios.CELLULAR PHONESGuests must abide by the policy of B.G.G.C. that prohibits the use of cellulartelephones in and around the clubhouse.COURSE ACCESSAccess to any parts of the Club or its golf grounds not previously arranged with theCatering Department is strictly prohibited. In a case where permission has beengranted by the Catering Department, access is provided only when supervised byClubhouse staff.LIABILITYB.G.G.C. reserves the right to inspect and monitor all functions and to discontinueservice to some or all guests in the event of the violation of B.G.G.C. polices orProvincials Laws. B.G.G.C. will not accept responsibility for items brought on toB.G.G.C. property or for any items left behind following the event. Personal effectsmust be removed at the end of each event unless prior arrangements have beenmade with the Catering Office.
