Management Report of the Board of Directors 2010Hotel Sinerama - SinesClub L - Amadora- ANGOLAThe two hotels of the Teixeira Duarte Group in Luanda, the "TRÓPICO" and "ALVALADE", respectively with 280 and 202 rooms, showed goodoccupation rates, with the professional training actions of the employees having been strengthened, namely relative to foreign languages,public attendance and food hygiene and safety.In order to strengthen its already strong presence in the hotel market in Angola, the Group continued the construction of a new four star hotelwith 144 rooms located in Luanda Sul, which is expected to be inaugurated in the second quarter of 2011.Concerning other related activities, note should be made of the "Nilo" pastry-shops which continued to show the good performance that hascharacterised its activity over the last few years, and which was strengthened with the opening of another "Nilo" pastry-shop in Luanda Sul.- MOZAMBIQUEIn Mozambique, the hotels of the Teixeira Duarte Group provide a total of 304 rooms, with 159 being in "Hotel Avenida", 73 in "Hotel TivoliBeira" and 72 in "Hotel Tivoli Maputo".Although tourism in Mozambique fell sharply in 2010, Teixeira Duarte's hotels showed a higher performance than in 2009, with theachievement of an increase in operating income of approximately 23% and growth in the occupancy rate of 5%.46
