The low powerCharge Pulse Discriminator (CPD) amplifies the charge coming from the detectorand provides the trigger signal in correspondence of which the Timeto-DigitalConverter (TDC) stores the time information with a fine resolution. The CPD has been taped on a 0.35µm CMOS process by ON Semiconductor(AMI Semiconductor). Its dimensions are 3200µm*3200µm.16 europractice | examples
