As determined by the board, a service zone mayprovide any service at any level within its boundaries that thedistrict may provide.105308. As determined by the board and pursuant to therequirements of this part, a service zone may exercise any fiscalpowers within its boundaries that the district may exercise.105309. Any taxes, special taxes, assessments, or fees whichare intended solely for the support of services within a zone shallbe levied, assessed, and collected only within the boundaries of thezone.105310. To assist in the operation of a service zone, the boardmay appoint one or more advisory groups composed of personswho reside in or own property in the zone.CHAPTER 9.DISSOLUTION105330. If the district operates no rail transit facilities, theboard may call an election at any time for the purpose ofsubmitting to the voters of the district the question of whether thedistrict shall be dissolved. Upon the filing with the secretary of thedistrict of a petition signed by voters within the district equal innumber to at least 25 percent of the total vote cast at the last generalstatewide election, asking that the question of dissolution of thedistrict be submitted to the voters of the district, the board shall callthe election.105331. The election for the purpose of submitting to thevoters of the district the question of whether or not the district shallbe dissolved shall be held within 60 days following the date onwhich the petition is filed.105332. Notice of any election for dissolution, whether calledbecause of the filing of a petition or ordered by the board withoutpetition, shall be published. The date fixed for the election shall notbe less than 30 days from the date of the first publication of thenotice.105333. The ballots for the election shall containsubstantially the instructions required to be printed on ballots foruse at general state and county elections and, in addition, thefollowing:93
