Ages 12+
Join us as we spend Spring Break having tons of fun. Field
trips, cra� s, movie nights, games, challenges and adventure! A
detailed schedule of events will be available in February.

MORINVILLE’S AMAZING AWAKEOVER!
Ages 12+
Do you think you have what it takes to stay up all night during
Teacher Conven� on? If you think that you are up for the
challenge then join us as we stay up all night playing games,
watching movies and so much more!
When: Thursday - Friday • February 7 & 8
7 p.m. - 10 a.m
Where: Morinville Community Cultural Centre

MORINVILLE YOUTH CENTRE OPEN HOUSE
Ages 12+
Come visit the Morinville Youth Centre and discover all of the
amazing things to do and see in the Centre. Play air hockey,
foosball, video games and give your input and ideas of things
that you would like to see happen all while enjoying some
tasty treats.
When: Friday • September 21 • 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

NATIONAL BULLY AWARENESS WEEK
Bullying is one of the biggest issues facing youth and impacts
the en� re community. Help us raise awareness of this issue
by a� ending a seminar on bullying, signing a pledge to help
combat the crisis or just get informed about how you can help
prevent bullying. Keep an eye out for more informa� on about
events that you can be part of during this week.
When: Monday - Saturday • November 12 - 17
YOUTH IN ACTION
Do you have a voice that you want heard? Do you want
to aff ect social change? Maybe you have a great idea for
a program or event. Then come join Morinville Youth In
Ac� on as we work together to plan events, volunteer in the
community and show the world that the Youth of Morinville
are passionate about the world around them.
When: every Tuesday at lunch George Primeau
School (grades 6-8)
every Thursday at lunch at Morinville
Community High School (grades 9-12)

SKILLS AND DRILLS
Whether you have
played hockey
before or not this is
an opportunity for
the player to learn
the fundamental of

MORINVILLE HOCKEY CAMP
Age: 8-17
Morinville Hockey Camp is for any player wishing to con� nue
their skill development and knowledge of the game while
ge� ng a great start to the 2012/ 2013 season. This camp is a
great opportunity to improve each player’s individual skills and
core fundamentals of the game, while learning the importance
of teamwork and hockey systems.
The Morinville hockey camp will include on ice training
including: hockey skills and technique training, power ska� ng
and scrimmage. Dry-land aerobic & fl exibility training and
in class hockey sense, theory and respect in sport seminar.
Sessions will be determined by number enrolled.
When: September 1 - 3 • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

MORINVILLE POWERSKATING PROGRAM
Ages 5+
Learn proper ska� ng techniques that will improve your
balance, control, speed and explosiveness on the ice. Whether
you are a beginner or advanced skater, this program off ers you
the challenging skills to improve your ska� ng abili� es. Times
may vary depending on registra� ons.
