What is FCSS?<br />
We provide:<br />
• Services to assist communi� es to iden� fy their social needs and<br />
develop responses to meet those needs<br />
• Services to promote, encourage and support volunteer work in the community<br />
• Services to inform the public <strong>of</strong> available services<br />
• Services that promote the social development <strong>of</strong> children and their families,<br />
• Services that enrich and strengthen family life by developing skills so people<br />
can func� on more eff ec� vely within their own environment<br />
• Services that enhance the quality <strong>of</strong> life <strong>of</strong> the re� red and semi-re� red<br />

<strong>Morinville</strong> FCSS also oversees the PASS (Program Accessibility Support Subsidy) Program,<br />
which can help families with fi nancial need with the registra� on costs associated with various<br />
<strong>Town</strong> Recrea� on and Social programs.<br />
FCSS grants are available to non-pr<strong>of</strong>i t community groups whose services and ac� vi� es promote<br />
the social development <strong>of</strong> children and their families, enrich and strengthen family life, enhance the<br />
quality <strong>of</strong> life <strong>of</strong> the re� red and semi-re� red or promote and support volunteer work.<br />
The grant deadlines are May 31 and November 30.<br />

registration costs associated with various <strong>Town</strong> Recreation and<br />
Social Programs.<br />

local organiza� ons, community groups,<br />
agencies and businesses that provide<br />
services within our community.<br />

Annual Equipment Swap<br />
In conjunc� on with our annual Ac� ve Living Fair, the<br />
<strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Morinville</strong> Community Services will be hos� ng<br />
an Equipment Swap. This is a great chance to clean out<br />
your basement and bring in the equipment your child<br />
has outgrown. We invite you to:<br />
• Sell, Swap, Upgrade or Donate your old equipment.<br />
• Lower the cost <strong>of</strong> equipping your child for upcoming<br />
winter season.<br />
• Upgrade your old equipment and receive a discount<br />
to purchae new equipment.<br />
