D8ONECMDUsage NotesExamples1. If you omit the D8ONECMD for any user entry, CP uses the defaults: OFF andUNLOCK. This means everything continues as you expected it to in previousreleases of VM. If you want to use the D8ONECMD statement but you areafraid to have CP start rejecting commands, we suggest you use the LOGoperand. Using the LOG operand does not cause CP to reject any commandsand it provides you with a list of all the commands by logging them to thesystem operator’s console. You can then monitor any multiple command activityuntil you feel comfortable in switching to the FAIL operand.2. If you are running a back level of CMS and D8ONECMD is set to FAIL, someCMS commands (such as SENDFILE, NETDATA, DISK LOAD, andREADCARD) may not work properly. Also a back level of the programmableoperator facility will not initialize if D8ONECMD is set to FAIL.1. If you wanted to:v Prevent a user from issuing more than one command using DIAGNOSE codeX'08' and X'15's,v Log each of the commands to the system operator’s console, andv Prevent that user from changing the D8ONECMD settinguse the following D8ONECMD statement:D8OneCmd Fail Lock2. If you wanted to:v Allow a user to issue multiple commands using DIAGNOSE code X'08' andX'15's,v Record each command, andv Allow that user to change the D8ONECMD settinguse the following D8ONECMD statement:D8OneCmd Log UnLock484 z/VM: CP Planning and Administration
