The interiorwas removed and the wood components were routedthrough the Innotech Wood and Finishing shops forrepair and refinishing.During the inspection, major corrosion was foundin several locations on the structure; the most severewas on the LH vertical stabilizer skin which was foundto be corroded beyond limits and required completereplacement. The A/C was shored and a laser symmetryand alignment check was performed, the elevators andhorizontal stabilizer were removed as well as all the componentsfrom inside the stab to gain access to replacethe corroded skin.
